I am a licensed mental health counselor providing telehealth therapy to adults in Rhode Island. I believe that finding the right therapist matters and that meaningful change begins with a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel comfortable, and say what’s actually on your mind.
I work with adults who may feel stuck in cycles of worry, spend a lot of time in their head, or struggle with uncertainty. Others notice feeling down, irritable, disconnected from things they once enjoyed, or have difficulty concentrating. Sometimes clients come to therapy simply knowing that they don’t feel like themselves. I recognize that these experiences often emerge during or after life transitions, when people are especially vulnerable to emotional distress.
I have worked in the counseling field for over a decade supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal issues (such as postpartum depression and anxiety), self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and substance use disorders. I have attended advanced trainings through Postpartum Support International and understand that being pregnant, recently giving birth, or becoming a new parent can be overwhelming. Parents often face significant challenges, including anxiety, depression, identity shifts, and learning to navigate the balance between self-care and caregiving.
My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and grounded in respect. I listen carefully without judgment while offering thoughtful feedback, gentle challenges, and practical insight when helpful. In my work with clients, I support them in developing a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences. I help create space for self-compassion and guide clients in identifying and focusing on the things that matter most to them.
